DocuStar is now Vya

New name, branding and visual identity better reflect the company’s products and services

Today marks the launch of Vya, an integrated marketing resource management provider offering technology that helps customers simplify and localize their marketing efforts. The company, headquartered in Cincinnati, was formerly known as DocuStar.

“This change reflects our evolution from a print fulfillment company to what we offer today — a range of services that provide our customers a simple way to deliver marketing materials through any media, at any time,” said Jay Brokamp CEO of Vya. “Our team helps take complex challenges and turn them into simple, effective solutions.”

Vya integrates technology, custom print and fulfillment services seamlessly to provide a marketing resource management platform that’s simple to use. Vya helps companies customize and localize their marketing, messaging and materials for more relevance, impact and, ultimately, business success.

The new name comes after extensive exploration to clarify what Vya stands for, and how to better identify it in the marketplace. The name describes the company offering — viable, simple solutions that work. In addition to the new name, the company has a new visual brand, including a new website, logo and colors.

“Our former name was simply not an accurate representation of what we do now,” Brokamp said. “We have changed, and we needed a name and brand that describes our products and services.”

Vya builds on DocuStar’s tradition of innovation and supporting business growth. The company has been honored several times as an innovator by local business organizations, and was a finalist for the Marketing Pinnacle Award by the Cincinnati AMA. Vya also continues to be proud to be a Cincinnati company supporting the needs of the region’s businesses.

The new identity also reflects Vya’s legacy of embracing and understanding rapidly changing technology to provide customers powerful tools to respond to complex marketing needs. The company’s software achieved the highest rankings from Gleanster, an organization that researches and reports benchmarks for best practices in technology-enabled initiatives.

“I believe our team is a great example of the innovative spirit of Cincinnati,” Brokamp said. “We’ve seen the opportunities new technology offers and help our customers use it to grow their business.” The company has added five team members to the development department during the past two years and continues to build its technical capabilities.
